Glass partitions and acoustic performance

Do you fabricate metalwork or buy it in?
We fabricate. That matters for finish consistency — brushed stainless has a grain direction, and panels made by different suppliers or at different times will not match unless one party controls the specification across the whole package.
Will a glass partition give us acoustic privacy?
A single-glazed frameless screen will not. Real acoustic separation needs double glazing with an air gap and differing pane thicknesses, plus properly sealed head, sill and junction details. In our experience the perimeter sealing, not the glass, is what usually determines whether a glazed meeting room is actually private.
