Eliminate hazards and reduce OH&S risks through procedures, documentation and communication.
Pursue a working environment free of work-related accidents, incidents and ill-health, with continuing improvements from year to year.
Comply with applicable legal requirements and other requirements relating to OH&S hazards.
Identify hazards in the workplace, assess the risks related to them and implement appropriate preventative and protective measures.
Provide and maintain safe work equipment, and establish and enforce safe methods of work.
Appoint personnel with the skills, abilities and competence for their role, ensure tasks match their knowledge and ability, and maintain technical competence through refresher training.
Promote awareness of health & safety and good practice so every person in the organisation knows their individual OH&S responsibilities.
Identify opportunities for continual improvement of OH&S performance, furnish sufficient funds to meet these objectives, and never compromise health and safety for other objectives.
