6 Best Home Décor Ideas (DIYs) in Bahrain

A house with good interiors is like a dream for everyone. Home interiors stand like a profile of a good house. So, instead of planning to change the colours or furniture this time why not to use simple DIY’s (Do It Yourselves) which can give your interiors a new look and the corners of your house will be jelled up with positivity and uniqueness. 1) Wall Art- 
Wall Art is a good way to start with decorating your home. It’s pretty simple and a fun task. After making this you will also feel the freshness of your place.
 
For making this You Need:
(i) Canvas                                                                                        
(ii) Paint Brushes
(iii) Pair of Gloves
(iv) Some leaves                                                                                
(v) A Roller                                                                                        
(vi) A Paper
(vii) Thumb pins
 
The DIY:
(i) Cover the table with the paper and wear your gloves.      
(ii) Paint your canvas and let it dry.
(iii) Place a leaf with a nice shape on the canvas.
(iv) Paint the canvas with the roller uniformly.    
(v) Gently remove the leaf from the Canvas.                                
(vi) The Canvas is ready.

2) Hanging Lights-
Hanging lights are something which jells up your place and even your mood. They give a different type of environment in the house. Being colourful it ads lights to the dark places.
 
For making this you need:
(i) Some balloons
(ii) Rope
(iii) Fairy Lights
(iv) Spray paint
(v) Glue
 
The DIY:
(i) Inflate a balloon and tie a rope around it.
(ii) Pour a mixture of glue and water on the balloon.
(iii) Dry it for 24 hours and then start spray painting.
(iv) Then burst the balloon.
(v) Put the fairy lights inside it.
(vi) And the Hanging Lights are ready.

3) Candle Holders-
Candles are a thing we can use on occasions and non-occasions as well. They signify purity and give the essence of hope. Candles holder making is a playful task.
 
For making this you need-
(i) Some lace
(ii) 2 glasses
(iii) Glue
(iv) A plate
(v) Brushes
(vi) Masking Tape
(vii) Glitter
(viii) Glass Paint
(ix) Gloves
 
The DIY:
(i) Put two strips of masking tape on a glass.
(ii) Fold the ends of the tape to make a triangle.
(iii) Wear your gloves and apply the paint with a brush in the empty spaces.
(iv) Place a plate underneath and apply glitter to the painted area.
(v) Let it dry for at least 2 hours.
(vi) Take the next glass and some lace.
(vii) Put the lace around the glass to measure and cut off the extra bit.
(viii) Apply glue to the glass and stick the lace.
(ix) Pull the triangle (from the 1st glass) to remove the tape.
(x) Your candle holders are ready.

4) Wall Hangings-
Wall Hangings are a centre of attraction in the house. They can be used for decoration as well as storing things in it.
 
For making this you need-
(i) A flat tub
(ii) A jug of water
(iii) Ceramic plates
(iv) Earbuds
(v) Toothpicks
(vi) Different colour nail paints
(vii) A pair of gloves
 
The DIY-
(i) Wear the gloves and pour the water in the tub.
(ii) Then mix the nail paints in a random pattern in the water.
(iii) After adding the nail paints the water in the tub will look like in the Fig. 2
(iv) Now take a ceramic plate and carefully dip it in the water so that the pattern sticks to the plate.
(v) Now take one earbud or a toothpick and neatly remove the nail paint which may be at the edges of the plate.
(vi) After cleaning the edges of the plate, slowly take it out from the water.
(vii) Let the plate dry for a while.
(Viii) After that our wall hanging is ready

5) Picture Frame-
Picture frames are the memories that you carry. Hanging a picture frame at home in a trendier style would give the space a new & fresh look.
 
For making this you need-
(i) Popsicle sticks (ice-cream sticks)
(ii) Pen
(iii) Paint Brushes
(iv) Scissors
(v) Paint
(vi) Glue
 
The DIY:
(i) Place the ice cream sticks in an octagonal shape.
(ii) Stick them together using a glue.
(iii) Continue by putting sticks in layers.
(iv) Make an outline of the picture using that frame.
(v) Cut the picture in the required shape.
(vi) Paint the frame in any colour.
(vii) Stick the image from the back of the frame.
(viii) The frame is ready.

6) Image Transfer-
Ever heard about transferring images? It’s more fun than you think. Transferring images to a candle. It would spread the essence of family bonding and togetherness.

(i) A thick candle.
(ii) A tissue paper
(iii) A photo.
(iv) Hairdryer.
 
The DIY:
(i) Take a thick candle.
(ii) Put the photo in the middle of the candle wall.
(iii) Wrap the candle with a tissue paper.
(iv) Heat it with the hairdryer.
(v) Your Image Candle is ready.
